Hello, I have been honored and blessed to work with children, adolescents, and their families for over fifteen years. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and I am a Registered Social Worker. I appreciate the opportunities that I have had to walk with families and their openness to sharing their stories. I use a person-centered, strength-based and trauma informed approach. I value the uniqueness of each individual and feel that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for creating a safe space to work through challenges.

In my practice, I utilize a variety of modalities including play therapy, expressive arts, cognitive behaviourial therapy, solution focused therapy and mindfulness. I have found that not one style or approach will work for everyone and I am open to being creative and collaborative in designing an approach. For those of us that struggle to express ourselves or do not have the language to express what we are feeling, play therapy allows us a neutral, non-judgmental space to work through feelings and experiences. My role is not to attach meaning but to help the individual process that for themselves.
