I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults.
When working with kiddos and youth, I am passionate about utilizing a collaborative approach with
parents to help build and strengthen the child’s support system and enhance their overall wellbeing. I
have a specialization in working with individuals who struggle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and
those who have endured trauma and addiction in their lives. Additionally, I provide psychoeducational
and psychological assessments to children, youth, and adults.
I have a graduate degree in Counselling from City University of Seattle and am trained in Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is a form of psychotherapy that helps the brain process
through distressing memories, emotions, and thoughts. EMDR can be used to treat a variety of struggles
including trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and many other mental health issues. I am
currently completing a certificate in Existential Analysis. Existential Analysis is a person-centered
psychotherapy that focuses on building an authentic relationship with the self, which sets the stage for
finding purpose and fulfillment in life.
Through a person centered approach, which maintains the therapist and client as equals, I strive to
cultivate a collaborative, trusting, and warm relationship to help individuals fulfill their personal needs
and desires. In my past work, I have felt truly inspired watching individuals take on challenges they
never thought they could and face difficult emotions with newfound courage. I strongly believe that
each person has the strength and resilience to heal and needs only someone to guide them through this
process. I recognize the vulnerability in reaching out for support and it is therefore my responsibility to
my clients to create a safe and compassionate space to allow for each individual to explore their life
struggles and begin a journey of healing and self-empowerment.
