What Services do Practicum Students Offer?
Under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, Practicum Students will offer services at an hourly rate dependent on their experience. Our Practicum Students will receive training, and their success is ensured by the Registered Psychologists at our clinic. While a Practicum Student can't replace the services of a registered Psychologist, they do offer quality counselling at a heavily discounted rate. Also, these students are receiving the most up-to-date education. We select Practicum Students based on their passion for treatment, and we have complete confidence in their ability to produce meaningful change in the lives of their clients. If you're unsure whether you should book a counselling session with a Practicum Student, know that there are benefits to receiving therapy from a Practicum Student.
Please note that Practicum Student Therapist fees will be non-reimbursable by Extended Health Care Benefit Plans.
